A BLOOD MOON: Macedo Ink Series

A Blood Moon is the first in the Macedo Ink vampire series. The story is centered on Alexander, King of Macedonia. That is right; Alexander the Great is a vampire. He is kind of involved with Jacqui Bruson, a private investigator who has to have all the answers. Jacqui’s assistant is Samantha, another wonderfully complicated character. Don’t want to give too much away, because there is a lot of personal development that Sam goes through. Throw in Catalina, a woman in trouble and you have a recipe for a great story. Oh, and don’t forget the demons, angels, and police detectives.

This story was well written. However, there were some things mentioned that led me to believe that there was a previous book. Alas, no. I hope my questions get answered in the next book:  As Blood Rages.
